Black Tongue Events makes its Barnsley debut, and we’re bringing a night of heavy riffs, crushing grooves, and pure underground energy to the stage. Even better? It’s also the first ever Barnsley show for Rillington Place — so expect the band to come out swinging.

RILLINGTON PLACE
Rillington Place are an alternative metal band from West Yorkshire, blending the grit of nu-metal with the crushing weight of doom and sludge. Taking inspiration from bands like Korn, Deftones, System of a Down, Crowbar, Conjurer and Swallow the Sun, they’ve carved out their own sound — what they call “gloom and groove.”

Expect drop-tuned riffs, haunting melodies, and a powerful mix of harsh vocals and clean, emotive singing. Their songs move effortlessly between tremolo-picked speed, catchy hooks, and bone-crushing breakdowns that hit hard without relying on clichés. Heavy, atmospheric, and unapologetically loud — this is a set you’ll feel in your chest.

NO HOPE SOCIETY
If you like your music loud, chaotic, and dripping with attitude, No Hope Society are bringing exactly that. Raw energy, relentless riffs, and a stage presence that demands attention, they’re the kind of band that turns a room into a riot the moment the first chord hits.
